Offered in partnership with The Spirit Seed, our Flower Essence program honors ancestral understandings of health, humanity, nature, and the cosmos. Open-Level Courses integrate intuitive, imaginative, and experiential learning with formal research and study.

 

The Flower Essence Program is designed for:

  • Those who want to cultivate self-awareness, engage in meditative presence and bring consciousness to their personal evolution

  • Acupuncturists, massage therapists, and bodyworkers who want to address the mental, emotional and spiritual blocks underlying physical complaints

  • Herbalists, healers, and energy workers who desire to incorporate spiritual plant medicine and indigenous healing systems into their work

  • Licensed Therapists and Mental health providers seeking an integrative mind-body approach to shifting patients' limiting beliefs and stuck emotions

  • Parents, caretakers, and non-professional counselors who are seeking alternative and natural remedies to support their loved ones

 

Clinical Mentorship is available for experienced practitioners and advanced students. It is designed to support you as you build your foundation working with flower essences, and integrate flower essence therapy into your current clinical practice.

 

Practitioner Certification

The 200-hr flower essence practitioner certification program incorporates foundational coursework in plant medicine and eco-therapy, electives based on your personal interests, clinical practice, and case research. It prepares you to practice as an independent flower essence practitioner. You will gain coaching strategies, knowledge of plant medicine, and practice-building skills to support your clients with customized formulas. You’ll also learn how to monitor the soul growth of patients over time, and communicate effectively with conventional and complementary wellness providers.

The practitioner certification program requires 18-24 months of intensive, heart-centered training and clinical practice.

Though the program is customized for each student, a typical program includes:

55 - 60 credits: Required Courses

  • 75 Credits: Supervised Clinical Casework

  • 70 Credits: Electives and Practitioner Professional DevelopmentPortfolio Review is the final stage of the Practitioner Certification Program. It includes a in-depth review and evaluation of all components of the Practitioner Portfolio:

  • 85% attendance and completion of course requirements

  • 3 Reflective Practice Essays

  • Plant Study Paper or Presentation (completed in Foundations of Plant Medicine)

  • Archetypal Essay & Image Compilation

  • 3 in-depth clinical case study reports

  • Annotated Bibliography of required and elective texts

Lindsay Fauntleroy is an acupuncturist, integrative counselor, educator, and thought- leader in the field of mind-body medicine. Her interdisciplinary approach draws on the wisdom of psychology, the science of the subtle body, the intersection of spiritual and religious teachings, and indigenous approaches to self-cultivation and mastery.   Lindsay guides patients on their journey to physical and emotional wellness, meaningful transformation, and personal evolution as they manifest their goals.

Lindsay was drawn to mind-body medicine after her own journey to fertility introduced her to the interconnectedness of body, mind, and spirit.  Lindsay has been immersed in the healing arts- including meditation, yoga, astrology, divination, and Qi Gong- for over 20 years. Her extensive training includes a Master of Arts from New York University,  a Master of Science from Tri-State College of Acupuncture, and clinical training in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Kiiko Matsumoto style Japanese acupuncture, and myofascial Trigger Point release. She is also a certified flower essence practitioner and yoga instructor, weaving mind, body, and spirit together to facilitate lasting change in her patients’ lives.  

Lindsay firmly believes that the power to heal should rest in the hands and hearts of all communities.  She provides emerging healers with practitioner certification in the art and science of flower essence therapy.  She is the first and only practitioner authorized by the Flower Essence Society to offer their practitioner certification training in the United States.  Lindsay’s line of alchemical Five Element flower essence remedies, the Elementals, are available nationally and internationally.

Lindsay also enthusiastically shares her wealth of experience and knowledge through private sessions, workshops, and speaking engagements. She has been published in the International Journal of Flower Essences, NY Yoga+Life Magazine, and she has enjoyed guest appearances ESSENCE.com, NYC’s WBAI Radio, and The Doyennes Den.
