Reiki is a simple, natural, and safe method of healing and self-improvement that everyone can use.
The Usui Reiki system was systemized in Japan by Dr. Mikao Usui & Chujiro Hayashi in the late 1800’s. This "‘Laying of hands” healing methods have been with humanity for thousands of years—and forgotten. Through Usui’s dedication to re-discovery of this truly universal healing method, the Usui Reiki method has become accessible to all.
The Usui sytem says that when one's "life force energy" or Qui is low, one is more likely to get sick and feel stress in the system. But, if it is high, one is more capable of feeling joyous and experience optimal health. Reiki has been effective in helping an array of illnesses and maladies and works well in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.
REIKI IS BASED ON THE IDEA THAT AN UNSEEN "LIFE FORCE ENERGY" FLOWS THROUGH US AND IS WHAT CAUSES US TO BE ALIVE.
Because of the reasons above, being certified in using Reiki is tremendously beneficial for everyone including: medical and therapeutic professionals, yoga and movement teachers, parents, or anyone who is interested in caring for others.

For this certification to be truly decolonized, we also endeavor together to understand the true nature of energy & and our capacity to perceive that reality. You will be offered a new way to see reality from a more expanded space instead of the binary model we have been taught for a long time, using the mythological, western & Indigenous scientific languages.
In addition to receiving instruction and attunement from two experienced Reiki Master Teachers AKA Godmothers, the courses also include an original manual and 6 months of email support by the instructors if needed. Students are also encouraged to learn and grow with their cohort through their own community-building effort

USUI REIKI I: SPIRITUALITY FOUNDATION & SELF-CARE
This class will introduce you to the history of Reiki and its 5 principles. We will outline what energy healing is, and how you can apply energetic hygiene to maintain your system. This class also includes the hand placements for self-Reiki and an attunement, which turns on your ability to use Reiki. There will be plenty of time to ask questions and learn from the experiences of two Master teachers. There is no pre-requisite for this class, except for the desire to heal yourself and others around you.

USUI Reiki II: Space Holding as a Spiritual & Professional Practice
* Reiki I certification is required to be able to join this class. If you have been certified by another teacher/ institution, you are required to fill out the application and have a phone interview.
In this class you will be able to deepen your connection to your Reiki energy healing practice and learn about the 3 Reiki symbols, which include the power-, mental-emotional, and distance healing symbol. We will also discuss multi-dimensionality and boundary setting and there will be a discussion on the relationship between time, space, and energy to understand why distant Reiki works. You will receive your 2nd Reiki attunement, and learn about the professional hand-positions and session sequence.
With a Reiki II certification, you will have the ability to work as a Reiki practitioner. A Usui Reiki II certificate is honored after: the completion of the class, hands-on practice session, and submission of two case studies: one for an in-person session and one for a distance session.

USUI REIKI III: ADVANCED PRACTITIONER CERTIFICATION

This program is designed for practitioners interested in deepening their understanding and ability. It is created to generate dedicated Reiki practitioners committed to continue with the mission of the global holistic community by increasing public awareness of energy healing.
In his course you will learn various energetic systems in depth, you will familiarize yourself with the five elements theory used in Chinese medicine and simple and easy techniques to work with the body meridians. The curriculum of this class also includes basic medical information, sacred geometry, sound healing, how to use psychic ability in healings, theory and practice of quantum healing. You will receive the knowledge of the Usui Reiki Master symbol and another attunement, to strengthen and expand the flow of the Reiki energy within you. This level and attunement will also give you the ability to perform large group healings and lead Reiki circles. To join this class you are required to have been certified for Reiki 1&2 and practice professional Reiki with clients, not just friends and family, for at least 6 months.
